ROCN Minelaying Group 4th Minelaying Squadron recently volunteered as one-day community aides at the Huashan Social Welfare Foundation’s Shalu Angel Station. By engaging directly in charitable activities, the service members exemplified their commitment and dedication to public welfare. The unit called upon the public to stand behind national defense and embrace the armed forces, giving concrete expression to the core principle that ‘ “the military protects the people, and the people honor the military” ’ while reinforcing the enduring bond between the armed forces and the public.
