Republic of China Naval Academy New Cadet Orientation Week

Republic of China Naval Academy New Cadet Orientation Week

During New Cadet Orientation Week, the Republic of China Naval Academy welcomed the Class of 119 and the Class of 117 Junior College Enlisted Cadets through a comprehensive program designed to help them adapt to military academy life. The program included haircuts, equipment issuance, stress management and counseling, vaccinations, mentorship activities, physical fitness training, and team-building competitions. These activities enabled the new cadets to gradually adjust to their new environment, strengthen unit cohesion, and prepare for upcoming basic military training.

Superintendent Major General Liu and Corps Commander Colonel Wang encouraged the new cadets to embrace the challenges of military life with a positive attitude, courage, and determination. They urged them to accept every challenge as an opportunity for growth while cultivating a strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and teamwork. At the conclusion of the orientation week, the cadets departed under the well wishes of Major General Liu and traveled by bus to the Republic of China Military Academy to begin their basic military training.
