Commander Encourages Continued Excellence and Dedication to Mission
To commend officers and sailors for their dedication to combat readiness and training, and to recognize their long-term contributions, the Navy Education, Training and Doctrine Command (NETDC) recently held its July promotion ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by the Commander, Vice Admiral Hsu, with families of the promotees invited to witness this honorable moment together, creating a warm and solemn atmosphere.
During the ceremony, the Commander personally pinned the new rank insignia on the promotees. In addition to extending his heartfelt congratulations to them, he expressed his gratitude to the family members for their unwavering support and companionship along the way. The Commander stated that every promotion represents an increase in responsibility, as well as the trust and recognition of the nation and the military. He urged the promotees to remain true to their original aspirations, continuously refine their professional capabilities, demonstrate leadership, hold themselves to higher standards, and contribute to the combat effectiveness of the military.
The Commander also expressed special thanks to the families in attendance, noting that the ability of the servicemen and women to focus on combat readiness and training relies heavily on the understanding, tolerance, and support of their families. He emphasized that the families are the strongest backbone of the service members and a vital force for the stability of the military.
