Suao Naval Logistic & Support Command Holds May 2026 Monthly Meeting, Promotion Ceremony, and Mental Health Lecture: “Recognizing Stress, Finding Solutions Early”

Suao Naval Logistic & Support Command recently held its May 2026 Monthly Meeting, Personnel Promotion Ceremony, and a mental health lecture titled “Recognizing Stress, Finding Solutions Early.” The event was presided over by Commander Colonel Wang, who conferred ranks upon the promoted personnel and extended his congratulations on their achievements.

The lecture featured Mr. Wu Tung-Ping, a counseling psychologist from the Yilan County Counseling Psychologists Association, who guided service members through the theme of “Knowing Yourself.” Through self-awareness exercises, participants learned to identify sources of stress and understand their stress load. The psychologist also introduced the Armed Forces’ mental health care programs, encouraging personnel to face psychological challenges proactively and to develop an awareness of timely care, support, and referral mechanisms. The lecture aimed to foster a supportive environment in which service members can seek assistance when needed and maintain their mental well-being.

Commander Colonel Wang stated that mental health is a critical factor in maintaining unit readiness and combat effectiveness. By fostering a strong sense of self-care, service members can gradually enhance their resilience and ability to cope with stress. He further encouraged all personnel to prioritize both their physical and mental well-being, and to seek assistance promptly whenever they encounter difficulties, thereby ensuring a healthy and supportive service environment.
