With family members in attendance to witness the proud moment, the Naval Maintenance and Repair Command recently held its promotion and rank-insignia investing ceremony for July. Rear admiral Yeh, the Commander, personally pinned the new rank represents not only the crystallization of professional expertise but also an extension of the respondsibility to safeguard maritime combat readiness. He exhorted the promotees to continuously pursue self-improvement in their new ranks and positions, leverage their expertise, and serve as the steadfast backbone of the unit.
Closing the ceremony, the Commander expressed hie special gratitude to the “Navy families” for their silent dedication, nothing that it is the unreserved support and companionship of the families that allow the service members to focus on their missions without worries.
