To ensure effective maintenance of logistice equipment and sustain the unit’s combat readiness, the Navy Recruit Training Center recently conducted the “April 2026 Commanding Officer Equipment Maintenance Inspection”. The inspection was presided over by Deputy Commander Lieutenant Colonel Wang Tsai-Chuan, who carried out a comprehensive review and supervision of all critical facilities and equipmemt across the unit.
During the inspection, Deputy Commander Lt.Col. Wang emphasized that “to do a good job, one must first sharpen one’s tools” stressing that equipment maintenance is not merely a routine task, but the very foundation for sustaining unit operations. He further required that responsible officers at all levels adopt a “precise and thorough” approach, and rigorously implement the three key elements of “maintenance, repair, and inspection.” Any deficiencies identified must be promptly tracked and corrected, with strict measures taken to prevent safety incidents caused by aging facilities or negligent upkeep, thereby ensuring the unit’s overall combat readiness and the safety of all personnel.
