2026 Navy Mazu Pilgrimage and Blessing Ceremony.

  In celebration of the birthday of Holy Mother Mazu on the 23rd day of the third lunar month, the Jin’an Temple in Beifang’ao recently held a pilgrimage and blessing ceremony. Colonel Wang Kuo-ching, Commander of the Su’ao Logistics Support Command, led worshipping service members and their families from Zhongzheng Base in a procession through Zhongzheng Naval Port and the Nanfang’ao area to pray for peace and safety.

  Amid continuous rainfall, lively drumbeats, and the sound of firecrackers, service members and worshippers remained undeterred by the weather as they enthusiastically carried out the pilgrimage procession. The participants worked together to carry the palanquin, while devotees in the Nanfang’ao area sincerely burned incense and prayed for blessings. Local residents also gathered at their doorsteps to welcome the arrival of Holy Mother Mazu, creating a scene that was both solemn and heartwarming.The event not only showcased Taiwan’s rich religious traditions, but also symbolized the unity between the military and civilians. It demonstrated how traditional culture and modern society are closely intertwined and deeply integrated into everyday life.
