To promote maternal love and the virtues of filial piety, Colonel Wang, Commander of the Suao Naval Logistic & Support Command, recently represented Major General Yeh, Commander of the Maintenance and Support Command, in honoring Ms. Tsai Ching-hsiang, recipient of the “Exemplary Mother of the Maintenance and Support Command” award. He presented her with a commemorative plaque inscribed with “Model of Motherly Virtue” and a cash award in recognition of her dedication to raising her children and encouraging them to serve the nation in the military and safeguard the maritime frontier, demonstrating her steadfast support for national defense.
Commander Wang stated that mothers are forever the sun in their children’s hearts, selflessly dedicating themselves and quietly providing protection as the strongest source of support. He also encouraged all service members to remain grateful and to repay their mothers’ love through concrete actions while carrying on the tradition of filial piety.
