Recently, the Navy Marine Corps Specialized Training Center, Class 114-1 Sniper Training Course, conducted a difficult terrain crossing training exercise at Meihe Camp. Through training scenarios closely aligned with real combat conditions, the course aimed to strengthen trainees’ willpower and environmental adaptability, demonstrating a spirit of perseverance, resilience, and never giving up in the face of adversity.
On the day of the training, the Kaohsiung area experienced its first cold front of the season, with temperatures dropping significantly. Despite the cold weather, the high-intensity training proceeded as scheduled. Under strict safety measures and in order to simulate harsh battlefield conditions, instructors set up muddy terrain and sprayed water to further increase the level of difficulty. Under the guidance of assistant instructors, trainees were required to complete tactical movements such as rolling and low crawling, ensuring rigorous and effective training outcomes.
Under the instructors’ strict supervision, the trainees remained undeterred by the cold wind and muddy conditions, demonstrating a high level of discipline and mental toughness. The training fully showcased the solid and demanding results of sniper education and training.
