Suao Naval Logistic & Support Command recently held its January 2026 monthly meeting, along with a personnel promotion and a commendation ceremony honoring service members for their efforts in disaster relief during Typhoon Hagas. The event was presided over by Deputy Commander Colonel Yeh, who presented promotion insignia to the promoted personnel and extended his congratulations.
In addition to commending the efforts and outstanding performance of the promoted personnel, Deputy Commander Yeh also praised the service members who participated in disaster relief efforts during Typhoon Hagas. Using their own leave time, they selflessly traveled to Guangfu Township to serve as “Shovel Heroes,” providing timely assistance that enabled residents to return to normal life as quickly as possible.
In closing, he encouraged all personnel to faithfully fulfill their duties at their respective posts, give their utmost effort, and strictly observe military discipline in order to uphold both unit and personal honor.”
