The Naval Maintenance and Repair Command Lunar New Year Calligraphy Event: Creativity Meets Tradition.

On February 12th, the Naval Maintenance and Repair Command hosted a vibrant Lunar New Year calligraphy event. Three master calligraphers were invited to demonstrate their artistry, providing sailors with bespoke auspicious scrolls.

Beyond seeking professional works, the event featured a popular “DIY Zone,” where personnel transformed into artists. Sailors combined traditional brushwork with creative drawings to produce unique, one-of-a-kind spring couplets reflecting naval culture. Amidst the fragrance of ink and festive joy, the activity not only relieved work pressure but also strengthened unit cohesion, welcoming the new year with boundless creativity and renewed morale.
