KEELUNG, Taiwan — To convey Lunar New Year greetings and express appreciation for service members safeguarding the nation, Mr. Tung, Speaker of the Keelung City Council, accompanied by General Huang (Ret.), former Chief of the General Staff, recently visited the Naval Keelung Logistics Support Command to conduct a Lunar New Year visit in conjunction with the 115th Spring Festival.
During the visit, Speaker Tung noted that in addition to their dedication to combat readiness and training missions, service members consistently respond swiftly during natural disasters and emergencies, safeguarding communities and assisting with post-disaster recovery efforts. He emphasized that the selfless commitment of the armed forces has earned deep respect from the public. As the Lunar New Year approaches, he extended his best wishes to all service members for a joyful holiday and continued safety and well-being.
