During the “2025 Joint Opening Ceremony for the Armed Forces NCO Academies,” Major General Liu, President of the Naval Academy, offered words of encouragement to the new students of the Navy NCO Class 116.
In his remarks, Major General Liu stated that joining the Republic of China Armed Forces is an honorable choice. He urged the students to cherish every learning and training opportunity during their time at the academy, to cultivate firm discipline and strong teamwork, and to lay a solid foundation for the future responsibility of defending the nation’s seas and territories.
Major General Liu also commended the new students for their courage in taking on challenges, encouraging them to continue upholding the Navy’s core values of loyalty, courage, and perseverance. He expressed his hope that they would keep enhancing their professional knowledge, strengthening their physical fitness, and tempering their willpower, ultimately becoming the backbone of the Republic of China Navy.
