Mr. Lee Dong-liang, Honorary Chairman of the Military Friends Association of the Republic of China, recently visited the Navy’s Zhongzheng Base in Su’ao to express his support and appreciation for the service members, accompanied by Vice Minister of National Defense, General Chung Shu-ming.
In the morning, Honorary Chairman Lee and his delegation, accompanied by Vice Minister of National Defense General Chung Shu-ming, Deputy Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Ma, Director of the Political Warfare Bureau Lieutenant General Chen, and Secretary-General of the Military Friends Association Chien Shih-wei, visited the troops to offer their support and were warmly welcomed by representatives of the armed forces. During the visit, Vice Minister Chung also presented care packages on behalf of Defense Minister wellington li-hsiung koo to commend the service members for their dedication in safeguarding the homeland.
Honorary Chairman Lee also reminded the troops that with the recent hot weather, it is important to stay hydrated while remaining steadfast at their posts, so they can continue to safeguard the homeland. He emphasized that the Military Friends Association will always stand with the armed forces, working together to contribute to the nation and society, and serving as the strongest support for the military.
