The 114-2 Marine Corps Reserve NCO Class at the Marine Corps Specialty Training Center recently completed their training. Over the course of eight weeks, the trainees underwent rigorous instruction, including general education courses, tactical training, boating courses, mountain training, and physical conditioning. Under the guidance of their instructors, the trainees combined academic theory with hands-on practice to gain a thorough understanding of the material and relevant operational skills.
The rank conferral ceremony was held at the Marine Corps Specialty Training Center and was presided over by Command Sergeant Major Wu Zong-Xian of the Education, Training and Doctrine Development Command. Senior non-commissioned officers from various units were invited to attend the ceremony and personally attach the rank insignia to their personnel, symbolizing the beginning of responsibility and the transformation of identity.
During his speech, Command Sergeant Major Wu praised the trainees for their dedication and resilience throughout the training period. He encouraged them to continue honing their professional skills upon returning to their units and to make full use of their strengths, becoming key pillars within their respective forces.
He also noted that through this series of systematic educational training, the trainees significantly enhanced their foundational military competence, laying a solid groundwork for their future military careers. The trainees were filled with high morale during the graduation and rank conferral, expressing great anticipation for their military journeys and embodying the spirit of soldiers who face challenges fearlessly and take on responsibilities with courage.
