The Marine Corps Specialty Training Center conducted boat-handling training at Xingxia Camp.

The 114-2 Marine Corps Reserve Non-commissioned Officer Class of the Marine Corps Specialty Training Center recently conducted boat-handling training at Xingxia Camp. Under the instructors’ guidance, the training was divided into stages, including land-based frog exercises, water floating drills, boat-hoisting training, and capsized boat recovery exercises. Through hands-on practice, trainees strengthened their awareness of water safety, became proficient in small boat operations, and developed the ability to remain calm, respond swiftly, and handle high-risk situations correctly.

Throughout the training, under the guidance and encouragement of the instructors, some trainees who were less confident in the water gradually overcame their fear and successfully completed all practical exercises, demonstrating the Marines’ fearless spirit and courageous, fierce character.

Lastly, the instructors emphasized that the trainees should uphold the motto of "Semper Fidelis" and the Marine Corps' spirit of "Three No Fears," courageously challenging their limits. They also particularly reminded them that behind the sweat and training lies the military's determination to continuously strengthen its combat capabilities and defend the homeland with unwavering resolve.
