
The Republic of China Naval Academy is currently collaborating with National Sun Yat-sen University, National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (KUAS), and National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST) on an underwater vehicle prototype project.
Recently, Professor Chao Hsiu-Wu, Chair of the Department of Engineering Science and Ocean Engineering at National Taiwan University, along with other faculty members, visited the Naval Academy’s Hydrostatic Pressure Laboratory. During the visit, they held discussions regarding the prototype of an unmanned underwater vehicle developed by the Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, including plans to conduct towing tank model tests at National Taiwan University.
