The Marine Corps Specialty Training Center conducted mountain training

The 114-1 Marine Corps Reserve Non-commissioned Officer Class of the Marine Corps Specialty Training Center recently conducted mountain training at Xingxia Camp. Under the instructors’ guidance, the training was divided into two phases. The first phase focused on basic knot-tying techniques, and the second phase covered subjects such as frontal descent. Through hands-on practical training, trainees were able to overcome psychological barriers, develop on-the-spot problem-solving skills, and learn proper procedures for handling high-risk environments.

Throughout the training, under the guidance and encouragement of the instructors, the trainees gradually overcame their fear of heights and successfully completed various practical exercises, demonstrating the fearless, resilient, and courageous spirit of military personnel.

Lastly, Instructor Zhang emphasized that the trainees should uphold the motto of "Semper Fidelis" and the Marine Corps' spirit of "Three No Fears," courageously challenging their limits. He also particularly reminded them that behind the sweat and training lies the military's determination to continuously strengthen its combat capabilities and defend the homeland with unwavering resolve.
