In celebration of the 77th anniversary of the Marine Corps, the Marine Corps Command held a commemorative event today at the Zhongcheng Base, presided over by Lieutenant General Fan, the Commander. The event brought together former Commanders, retired Marine Corps veterans' associations, and local dignitaries to mark this extraordinary occasion. The festivities included a cake-cutting ceremony, torch-passing ritual, a performance by the drum team, and joint performances by the honor guard, military band, and martial arts demonstration team. Despite the rain, the enthusiasm of the participants remained undampened. All attendees, along with the honored veterans, joined in singing "Happy Birthday" and the Marine Corps Anthem to celebrate the Corps' birthday!
