This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Marine Corps’ garrison in Wuqiu. In order to commemorate the forefathers’ pioneering creations, miserable operations, and construction of a maritime steel fortress from scratch, the Marine Corps will hold a “Garrison on the Island” event at the Marine Corps History Museum from now until October 20. The special exhibition "Wuqiu 50th Anniversary" aims to convey the spirit of "a critical minority, one life on the same island" and let the Chinese people understand the importance of solid national defense capabilities to the survival and development of the country!!!
