Kaohsiung City Government’s Youth Bureau held the “2025 Xiong School Union – Joint Club Showcase for High Schools, Vocational Schools, and Universities” yesterday (14th) at Qian-San Wharf beside the Dakang Bridge. A total of 21 schools and 35 student clubs unleashed their full power on stage, delivering high-energy performances and creative booth displays. With the added excitement of the “Winner Takes All Club PK Battle” and a school-uniform dress-code party, the atmosphere was electric. An estimated 15,000 people packed the Pier-2 Art Center.

Youth Bureau Director Lin Kai-Hsuan and Education Bureau Director Wu Li-Sen visited the balloon-art club of the Republic of China Naval Academy, interacting with students and trying their hand at balloon-twisting.

This youth extravaganza, meticulously curated by the Youth Bureau, brought together top student clubs from high schools, vocational schools, and universities. The stage lineup ranged from K-POP dance crews and indie bands to explosive electronic music. NSYSU’s Yangmen Music Club rocked the stage, Kaohsiung Commercial High School’s “Euphony” K-POP club delivered a powerhouse performance, and the Fengshan Vocational High School EDM Club ignited the crowd with next-level mixing.
The 21 creative booths were just as impressive—traditional arts, anime cosplay, board games, and photography all showcased the limitless creativity of students.

The “Winner Takes All Club PK Battle” became a major highlight. After online voting, NSYSU’s Guitar Club and Kaohsiung Commercial High School’s K-POP Dance Club claimed the top popularity awards, each taking home NT$10,000 as fans screamed in excitement.
The event also featured a school-uniform dress-code theme with a professional photo studio, limited-edition photo printing, and a 4.5-meter giant chalkboard for students to write their “youth statements,” instantly turning the venue into a massive campus party.

Three NGO booths also drew significant attention: “Do You A Flavor” highlighted homelessness issues, “Daily Life of Booze & Babes” sparked conversations on gender and drinking culture, and the ACGN Creative Association encouraged young people to embrace their anime and gaming dreams.
Chen, a student from Fengshan Vocational High School, said excitedly, “Thanks to the Youth Bureau for pushing through despite the weather—standing on an outdoor stage and hearing my classmates cheer was incredibly touching!”
Lin, a student from Kaohsiung Commercial High School, added, “It’s not just about showcasing talent. We got to meet students from other schools and even chat with NGOs. This is what a real youth party should be!”
