In order to promote a gender-friendly workplace culture and help military parents develop the ability to guide their children in understanding gender-related issues, The Naval Maintenance and Repair Command held a gender equality education seminar presided over by the deputy commander Huang.The professional lecturer Chiang, who is supervisor of Taiwan TONGZHI Hotline Association, was invited to speak on the topics of “Understanding Gender and Transgender Diversity” and “LGBTQ+ parenting: Issues, Responses, and Life Experiences.”
Through the lecture’s engaging and relatable presentation, the seminar helped colleagues gain a deeper understanding of gender issues and learn how to practice respect in their daily interactions.
